Vampire Weekend: 2021 Covers of “2021”

Vampire Weekend’s “2021” from Father of the Bride has taken on a new life this year.

Last month, the 155 Podcast released an album with 25 punk covers of “2021.” Now Vampire Weekend has released an EP called 40:42 with two covers of the song that each clock in at 20 minutes and 21 seconds.

One cover was done by jazz saxophonist Sam Gendel (above) and the other by jam band Goose (below).
