The Veteran Cosmic Rockers are Ian (bass/vocals), Glenn (guitar, vocals), Matt (drums and vocals), Kevin (guitar, vocals) and Aaron (keys and vocals), a fab five of family-oriented, fun guys who love the 60s British Invasion and American pop music and want to bring it to the masses — again! Most of VCR were playing this stuff when it was new, so we know what we’re doing, we know how to fill dance floors night after night, and we know how to make cash registers ring. When required, VCR are self-contained with a full PA capable of covering a couple of thousand people and enough lights to keep the band visible and looking and sounding gear, fab and groovy.
Our tight vocal harmonies and a song catalog with some refreshing surprises set us apart from the typical classic rock cover band. “Spot the Looney” and trivia with ‘Cosmic’ prizes keep audiences coming back for more.
The Noon Tunes Summer Concert Series returns for its 31st year on Tuesdays throughout June and July! From noon-1:00pm enjoy music from some of Portland’s best regional and local musical talent. With seven FREE concerts, dancing, and some of Portland’s favorite food vendors at Carts on the Square, Portland’s Living Room is sure to be Downtown’s summer lunchtime destination.
