Greta Van Fleet, Chris Cornell among 2019 Rock Grammy winners

Greta Van Fleet and the late Chris Cornell are among the winners in rock categories at the 2019 Grammys.

The young Michigan rockers’ won the Best Rock Album award for their double EP From the Fires, while Cornell posthumously won the Best Rock Performance prize for his single “When Bad Does Good.”

The other winners in the rock categories include Beck‘s Colors for Best Alternative Music Album, St. Vincent‘s “Masseduction” for Best Rock Song, and High on Fire‘s “Electric Messiah” for Best Metal Performance.
