More about Youssoupha and Open Heart Kirtan: Grammy nominated Youssoupha Sidibe was trained as a Kora player at the National Music Conservatory of Senegal over 20 years ago. His music fuses traditional West African sounds on the Kora with Sufi devotional chanting.
Kavita is a yoga teacher and musician / performer with a deep study of Indian Classical vocal music and love for Kirtan & chanting. Kavita has over 18 years of yogic teaching, sharing kirtan & study of nada (sound) yoga experience.
