The Big Float

No matter what you’ve heard, the Willamette River is safe to enjoy, and we want to invite you to a party celebrating just that! The Big Float goes into it’s 6th year with live music from two floating stages, food carts, beer & wine, and two 100′ slip & slides! Not to mention the annual river float!
11:00 am – 6:00 pm
11:30 am Live music starts on music barge in front of Tom McCall Bowl
12:30 pm First floaters parade starts
1:30 pm Second floaters parade starts (you can launch as late as 3:00 pm)
Parades led by Mysti Krewe and LoveBomb Go-Go
COST: $5 Through June 30th, $10 day of event. Discounted pricing for those under 18.
WHO: 2,500+ floaters + observers and after-partiers
WHY: To give our river a hug
WHAT: THE Portland summer celebration benefiting Human Access Project.
