Rising Appalachia are an intrinsic part of the current conscious music revolution, keeping the deep lineage of roots music alive through their modern interpretations while embracing their role as public servants, spreading messages of socio/enviro activism and promoting positive change through local charitable outreach and sustainable touring practices.
They have performed alongside Michael Franti and Nahko and Medicine for the People, Damien Rice, Trevor Hall, the Avett Brothers, and the Carolina Chocolate Drops, while cultivating a strong, dedicated fan base along the way.
