Adele in Vegas; Fires Entire Creative Team

Adele will be taking another shot at Las Vegas after all, but she won’t be bringing along her creative team — because she’s just fired everyone.

Britain’s Telegraph quotes someone close to the star as saying she will stage “a completely redesigned show” after booting her longtime set designer Esmerelda “Es” Devlin. She’s reportedly now hooked up with two different designers, one of whom works with the Rolling Stones, and one who works with big-in-Britain boy band Take That.

According to the insider, the plan is to start the residency at the end of July or beginning of August, which would fit an empty calendar spot at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum, where the original shows were set to take place.

Earlier this year, Adele told interviewer Graham Norton she was “100 percent” certain to bring the show back in 2022.
