Sixth Grader Writes Will In Case of School Shooting

Most American 6th graders are busy playing with their Playstations, not writing them into a will. But an Alabama student drafted one in case something were to happen to him at his Birmingham school.

Javon Davies says he wrote a letter detailing where possessions such as his Playstation, XBox, and cat should go if “some kids get rowdy up and might end up getting somebody shot or something”.

Davies finished his will with a message to his family, thanking them for sticking by him all the time.

His mother Mariama Davies says kids “shouldn’t have to worry about, go through, or even think about” things like writing wills or school shootings.
