Come float and fill the boat with hundreds of volunteers on Sunday, September 9 at 9:00 a.m. as part of the 10th Annual Down the River Clean Up. The event begins at Barton County Park, where a flotilla of volunteers will raft, kayak, tube, canoe and SCUBA down a fifteen-mile stretch of the Clackamas, removing any trash it may encounter along the way to preserve and protect the beautiful and bountiful river. Pre-registration is required at www.WeLoveCleanRivers.org. Since its inception, the Down the River Clean Up has involved 2,200 volunteers and removed twenty-three tons of trash from the Clackamas River!
