Tuesday, August 11, 2009 - Sheilja Patel is Miss Teen Oregon International and also struggles with Colitis.
A WONDERFUL ROLE MODEL
Sheilja's been in and out of the hospital since she was 14 and even had to be placed on a feeding tube for a time.
She was crowned Miss Teen in March and just competed in the National competition last month making it to the top 10.
We sat down recently to catch up on Sheilja's story. LISTEN BELOW
Throughout August the fundraiser CCFA is doing with local Applebee's restaurants. Basically, if you visit any Applebee's in our area on Tuesdays in August, they'll donate 10% of your purchase to CCFA!
