What was your most embarrassing on-air moment? "The Night I was supposed to Introduce Don McLean (American Pie). For some reason as I walked center stage....Don followed me, took the microphone first and began playing! There we were in the spotlight...Don McLean and ME (standing there like a back up singer who forgot the lyrics)." ~ Dave Scott

What was your first concert? Bachman Turner Overdrive with Seals and Crofts opening, at an outdoor arena in San Diego, in 1974. BTO cancelled, but Seals and Crofts agreed to play a full set for anyone who didn’t want a refund. I stayed, and they were great. Host: The Lounge After Hours, Sunday Acoustic Kink
I’ve been listening to KINK since I was very young, back in the day when Bob Marx, Jeff Douglas, Jack McGowen and Scott Carter were the on-air lineup. Early to mid-70’s would be my guess there. At one point Les Sarnoff became the evening jock and he became my favorite.

What was your first concert? My Mom helped develop my love for live music early on. I remember seeing Helen Reddy and Mac Davis. Sadly, she took my Sister to see Elvis Presley and left me at home! My first solo concert was in Middle School, Andy Gibb at Memorial Coliseum. I also remember seeing DEVO at The Paramount. And then everything changed!
