Who is Graffiti6?

We've known for years that British musicians have freely borrowed from American music styles and genres and devised something uniquely different. Graffiti6 is set for superstardom with their amazing confluence of styles.

Start searching out what this UK duo is all about, and it seems to rest almost entirely on Jamie Scott. He's incredibly great looking with charisma to spare. Superficial aspect aside,  there's a soulful voice and lovelorn and smart lyrics. It all adds up to being simply irresistible. But the other important ingredient here is DJ/producer Tommy D. In fact, Jamie credits Tommy with having realized his voice. Reminds us of Broken Bells or Gnarls Barkley.

Very surprised to learn about Jamie's first influence. Guess who? Jamie says, "When I was 7 and heard “Blue” by Joni Mitchell...I grew up on alot of folk music: Dylan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell. As well as those my Dad was a big soul fan so I also listened to Donny Hathaway, Curtis Mayfield and Marvin Gaye." Sounds like a pretty wonderful canvas of sound.
