Protest Songs
October 18, 2011, 1:17 pm
We all know that music is a deep resource. Works to fuel collective empowerment and passions. When it comes to expressing beliefs or coming together to create movements, songs of protest are a long held and cherished tradition. Movements for social change around the world are resurrecting benchmark songs of the past and creating their own.
We thought it would be a good time to revisit the songs that have held sway over our collective conscience and have long empowered many movements. The old and the new! Reminds us music is one of the things almost all of us have in common.
