The Jeremy Wilson Foundation 501(c)3 Nonprofit Musicians' Service Organization presents an all-female tribute to Neil Young by Portland's own all-female rock revue Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Someday Lounge.

The all-female  band and many special guests will cover full band versions of Young's best songs, such as Ohio, Helpless, Rockin' in the Free World and Cinnamon Girl, to name a few. In addition to the musical revue, The JWF will raffle amazing prizes including custom-made Dream Catchers by Rachael Rice (recently featured in People Magazine), two ZipCar Memberships, and a one-hour band photography session from Mirifoto, one of the official photographers for this year's Pickathon festival.

VU Band Members include:
Rachael Rice (guitar/harmonica/ukelele/ vocals), Darka Dusty (accordion/keys/vocals) Renée Muzquiz (lead guitar/vocals), Wynter Byrnes (keys/vocals), Jolie Clausen drums), and Belinda Underwood (upright bass/vocals)

Special Guests include:
Mel Kubik, Laura Ivancie, Kathryn Claire, Karamy Muessig, Alexa Wildish, Alex Nicole, Alexa Wiley, Gina Noell, Annie Vergnetti, Karyn Patridge, Julia Cramer, & more.

Tickets: $10 Presale at Brownpapertickets.com / $12 at the door.  All proceeds benefit the JWF Musicians' Emergency Healthcare Fund. More HERE.

Renee Muzquiz works with JWF and is also a working musician. We talked about the idea behind an all-female project like VU. Enjoy the convo!
