Recovering from a nasty bout of food poisoning, Zee Avi stopped by to chat with Brad Dolbeer and sing some songs for us.  What a trooper and she sounded great!

Malaysian singer/songwriter Zee Avi got her start when Patrick Keeler of the Raconteurs took notice of her YouTube videos in which she sang original songs. Word spread and she was soon signed to Brushfire Records and in 2009 released her self-titled debut album. Her new record, ghostbird, came out in August, 2011.
