The forecast for Friday is perfect. The time is right to board the Friday Early Escape Cruise on the Portland Spirit! The music sweet on this late summer afternoon. Hope you can join us. Find out more HERE.

THE MANY SIDES OF JOSH MALM

The musical journey continues for Josh Malm. The terrifically talented violinist Tim Snider is on board now.

Josh's new project is Redwood Son and The Revelry. Catch a gig Friday night, 6/1, at Doug Fir. More HERE.

Josh and Tim stopped by our studios to bring the news of this new collaboration and to lay down a bonus tune. Convo and song, below.

The song "Early Birds" is from THE LION'S INSIDE.

Tim was in the BING Lounge recently. Check out the session HERE.

Back in June 2011, Josh Malm finally put a flood of songs on an album ( a double cd set!). We talk THE LION'S INSIDE.

LISTEN TO OUR COMPLETE CONVO, BELOW.

THE LION'S INSIDE

The band was on their way to the making of this (now double-disc) album when they tragically lost their friend and bandmate in a fatal accident. It seems like the closure has arrived with the album. And, seems like it will be both a celebration of a new collection of 20 songs and a chance to remember Kipp Crawford, as well.

More about Redwood Son HERE.
