Who will reign supreme in Autumn 2012? Here are 125 contenders we've got our eyes on.

FALL PREVIEW

Billboard is offering a very comprehensive look at the new releases that will be reigning down us over the next weeks.

A quick rundown below, and for more, check HERE.

ROCK RELEASES

Bob Dylan's Tempest releases 9/11. but other titles to look for: the return of Matchbox Twenty, Van Morrison, John Fogerty, Kiss, and Aerosmith. And from the sound of the first video, it's gonna be true form for Dylan, musically speaking. Visually, it does indeed look like an outtake from Goodfellas.

INDIE

The big news is probably Cat Power, and her new album Sun. She's been an indie favorite for a long time, but this marks the first time she's making an even wider splash. Other titles to watch for include David Byrne & St. Vincent, Aimee Mann, Benjamin! Gibbard (stepping away from Death Cab for a debut solo project), and of course Mumford and Sons. (Maybe THAT'S the big news.)

ALTERNATIVE

Not sure where to begin on this list but with guys like The Killers The Wallflowers, The Script, Ben Folds Five, Green Day. Muse vying for space on our listening list with Yoko Ono, Kim Gordon & Thurston Moore's mutual project, well, the Fall will be richer for it.
