A very special performance by Portland's own Esperanza Spalding! Ms. Spalding is the first jazz artist to win the Grammy Award for "Best New Artist of the Year" this spring.She's was her hometown to perform a benefit jazz concert, "Esperanza Spalding & Friends in the City of Roses". provided much-needed support for the American Music Program, a nationally-recognized jazz education program for local 7th-12th grade students.
