Amelia's Teisha Helgerson Tribute
Earlier this year, friends of Teisha's dropped by her house over 7 days, in search of inspiration. The idea was to help her finish the album she couldn't. Now, there's CARRY ON.
TEISHA AND FRIENDS: CARRY ONTeisha's friends made music from lyrics found on her shelves, and melodies recorded on her phone. A Tribute to the Remarkableness of Teisha! CD Release Party, Fundraiser and Dessert Potluck is on for Thursday, August 23, 6:30 PM at Kruger's Farm on Sauvie Island.

Amelia formed in 2001 when Scott Weddle saw Helgerson perform with her family band Say Uncle. Weddle, whose band The Flatirons had just disbanded, was overwhelmingly impressed with her voice and stage presence and he asked her to perform with him.
