We’re looking forward to the 2011 Paint & Repair-a-thon taking place on Saturday, August 6, 2011 * 8:00 - 2:30 pm. We’re meeting at Colonel Summers Park, located on SE 20th & SE Taylor St.
The annual REACH Paint & Repair-a-thon has been going strong for twenty two years! On Saturday, August 6 over 250 volunteers will gather (rain or shine) to help make repairs throughout Portland for our senior and disabled neighbors in need. You join hundreds of volunteers for a fun, "hands on" day of community service like painting, carpentry, plumbing, installation of safety devices, and yard clean up. There are many sponsorship and volunteer opportunities available for you and your employee's.
In years past, we’ve focused our efforts on particular neighborhoods (like northeast or outer southeast Portland). REACH does all the work of planning projects, providing materials, and feeding you!
