When I was a kid, Mom and Dad had an album called "Drumsville" It was a solo effort from Earl Palmer, who made a name for himself back in the 60s drumming for Fats Domino and Little Richard. They would lean the album jacket up next to the stereo as they "Twisted the night away" and I would stare transfixed for hours at the beautiful gold sparkle kit on the album cover. I found this little gem on You Tube and had to share it with you. Without a doubt...this is WHY I play the drums today
