On their Reverbernation site, says the band, In the summer of 2011 Safire will debut their new album, Crashing Tiles, written by Steve Killen and produced by Keith Sommers and Steve Killen. Steve’s true American style peers through haunting melodies, complex arrangements, and scattered jazz harmony. Band Members Kit Taylor, Rob Obregon, Eric Storm and Michael Herrman provide a dynamic performance and compliment Steve's writing style with R&B, Gospel and rock fusion influences. A spear of accessibility draws an audience in and leaves them singing melodic hooks in the shower the next morning.
