The new album Sunshine,  will surprise and delight. Yes, the mandolins and banjos are still there, but so are several unexpected sounds.

The new album Sunshine will get the release party Thursday June 14 at Mississippi Studios. Full band on board, with some surprise guests. More on the show HERE.

Will dropped by this afternoon for a chat about some of the new directions he is taking the sound, summer plans, and how to listen to music for deepest effect! LISTEN BELOW.











The Portland Mercury has a perfect description of Will West and The Friendly Strangers:
"..a formidable ensemble, boasting fiddles, banjos and mandolins, all guided by West's casual ringleading."

Now, at year's end, Will has already begun working up new material. And amped up the volume, used a full drum kit for the first time, in his recording process.
