Birds are proving an easy entry to kids and nature. Why? Because birds are almost every where, they are active and easy to see creatures. And they can fly!!! The metro area has dozens of great spots near by to go birding. Plus it’s Great Blue Heron week and 25 years since Portland adopted the Great Blue as our official city bird.
