Stock pools, rain barrels, and troughs with mosquito fish guppies, or goldfish. They readily eat mosquito larvae. Change water in birdbaths once a week. Mosquitoes breed in shallow stagnant waters so be proactive and inspect your yard for wheelbarrows, tarps, kids toys and anything else that might be retaining water, and mosquito larvae!
