The Portland-based  group has a rotating cast of musicians, depending on Blitzen Trapper's tour schedule among other things.

Denver headlines the Indie Rock Music Festival, "Jimmy Rocks",  Saturday 5/26 at Jimmy Maks. More about the 2-day fest HERE.

The band's 6 members are a rotating cast. (When Blintzen Trapper is in Portland, it includes Eric and Mike.) It's basically a parade of really fine talent at any given moment.

In our chat below Tom Bevitori lays out the deal on Denver and gives hints of things to come on the new album due in August on vinyl and download.

But the impression remains: for this band it 's the choice to share lots of stories laid out in the old-fashioned and time-honored outlaw style. Which is to say, it's all laced with lots of whiskey and hard living,  both real and imagined. ~Inessa
