In YouTube's #1 political video of 2011, 19-year old Zach Wahls stood up in front  of the  Iowa House of Representatives and defended his family. Now, he's speaking out in a new book.

ZACH WAHLS' MY TWO MOMS
Zach's YouTube moment was as viral as these things get. (Take a look below.) As far as the books goes, the amazing thing is, it's divided into chapters, 12 of which address the 12 tenets of Boy Scout law. Zach was an Eagle Scout (now celebrating its 100th anniversary, BTW).

I spoke with Zach about the speech on the floor, and the new book, and of course asked "what's next!!?" Listen to our conversation, below.

Each chapter is titled according to the Boy Scout law: Obedient, trustworthy, kind, friendly, reverent, and so on. Life-coach platitudes are scattered throughout the book (“Running from the truth leaves it chasing you.”) as are quotations by Martin Luther King, Elie Wiesel, Voltaire, and Kurt Vonnegut. But for all that, Zach's attitude, though sunny it may be, is never superficial, and he is absolutely formidable in his command of argument.
