Musician Rob Barteletti is one of those kind of guys who can't help but exude humour and creativity. I bet he was a great teacher. Rob was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Now his life has taken a different road.

We featured this album a few weeks ago, when it released. But I wanted to circle back and feature another track in our nightly Spotlight. Storm Large doing Rob's "Voices" is a great story of  one life touching and inspiring  another.

SHAKERS is a collection of songs from Rob Barteletti. Invited to sing on this collection? Musicians like Storm Large, Pete Droge, Bart Ferguson, Fernando. Rob teamed up with Burgerville to make it happen. Interesting story how THAT came to be. Listen to podcast to hear about the fortuitous series of events. Rob Barteletti told me that after the Parkinson's diagnosis, he had to retire from his teaching job. but rather than let the diagnosis stop him, he dug into his music deeper than ever.

SHAKERS is the result of a project Rob and his friend Rob Stroup began mulling about 2 years ago. Since than a lot of great people have come together to make this disc a good one. LISTEN TO OUR CONVERSATION BELOW.
