I had to take a couple weeks off... but I've been saving my money.  Here are a couple albums you should grab at your local record store!~ Jason Miller

The Decemberists - We All Raise Our Voices: The Decemberists... perhaps you've heard of them?  Their double live album is finally available.  Recorded in various parts of the country (including Portland), this album has a great set list with songs including: Down By the Water, Billy Liar, and We Both Go Down Together.  Having seen the Decemberists many times, I'll be curious to see if they can capture their live energy on a recording.

Andrew Bird - Break it Yourself: One of the most talented indie musicians this side of Sufjan Stevens, you're just as likely to hear whistling or violin as your are to hear guitar, bass, and drums.  An incredible songwriter, and he's coming to the Schnitz with Laura Marling on April 11th.
