I LOVE a good rock Documentary. Sometimes the music we love has an amazing story behind it. And some are just a tale that needs to be told. Here are some to check out.

The Foo Fighters - Back and Forth
Dave Grohl once said that Kurt Cobain only gave him two compliments the entire time that he was in Nirvana. That is about the only thing I didn't know about that band. The Nirvana story has been told time and time again.  But his work with Foo Fighters is quite a story as well.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - Runnin Down a Dream
When people like George Harrison, Rick Rubin, and a long list of others continually praise a songwriter like Tom Petty, it's worth your attention.

The Who - Amazing Journey - The Story of the Who
"It was the best jazz, it was the best rock and roll, it was like something that no one had ever done before." - Roger Daltrey

Anvil - The Story of Anvil
About as close to the 'Spinal Tap' true story that you will get.

Talihana Sky - The Story of Kings of Leon
(this clip has adult content)

It Might Get Loud
Three masters at their craft, Jack White, The Edge, and Jimmy Page tell their stories and swap a few secrets.

Rolling Stones: Stones in Exile

Dig!
The Dandy Warhols vs. The Brian Jonestown Massacre

Stalking Pete Doherty
If you aren't aware of who Pete Doherty is, he is quite an iconic rock star in England who sang for the rock band The Libertines. You probably know the name of his ex girlfriend, Kate Moss. This is one of the most bizarre and interesting stories about a fan stalking a rock star ever documented.   (warning - adult content in this clip)
