HireLive will be hosting a professional hiring event in Portland next week at the Embassy Suites Portland – Washington Square. Typically, HireLive averages 15 candidates per company at our events. Some of the major companies that will be attending this hiring event next week include Hershey’s, Shane Co. Jewelers, NY Life, COUNTRY Financial and more. All of these companies are hiring for open sales, retail and management positions within the greater Portland area.

HireLive, a leading national recruitment and marketing company specializing in professional sales, retail and management recruiting events, is hosting a hiring event after the New Year to help job-seekers and companies start the year off right.

“This New Year is so important to job-seekers. The economy is improving and companies are ready to expand,” Dan Sparks, VP of Sales, says. “Timing is so important for job-seekers; starting a New Year with a new job opportunity would surely boost morale. It’s so important to get America back to work and 2013 is going to be the year.”

In January, 2013 over 1,750 job seekers attended the company’s Texas, Southwest and Southern California Career Fairs to meet and interview with over 125 industry leading companies who were hiring. These companies included: Hershey’s, Verizon Wireless, Aramark, CarMax, State Farm, Altria Group, Armstrong Garden Centers, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Wyndham Vacation Ownership and many more.

“Today was phenomenal,” Lisa Rojas, Verizon Wireless Human Resources says. “(My colleague) and I attended and were both able to get solid retail sales and 6 BAE/B2B (business account executives/business to business) SUPERSTARS!”

The hiring event is scheduled for February 6th from 9:00a.m.–12:30p.m. at the Embassy Suites Portland – Washington Square in Tigard.

HireLive expects to have 10-15 employers at this event and upwards of 125 job-seekers in attendance. The hiring event is free for job seekers dressed professionally and prepared with resumes to interview with hiring managers on site.
